Did you know you have the option to Audit this course?
When you Audit an Outlier course, it simply means you’re taking the course without the expectation of earning credits or impacting your college transcript. You will not receive a grade, a transcript, nor credits and will not be participating in exams.
The cost of an Audit course is the same, flat rate as the tuition for a course for credit ($400). When you choose to Audit a course, you will receive lifetime access to the course and its learning materials, excluding quizzes and exams. You will also receive invitations to participate in community engagement events during the course session and access to our Student Success team to ensure you're still reaching your learning goals.
How do I audit my Outlier course?
When purchasing an Outlier course, you now have the option of selecting AUDIT (No credit, unlimited access) at checkout! If you purchase a course for credit at checkout, then later decide you'd like to switch to the audit path, you may submit an audit form via your student dashboard before or by the audit deadline. Audit deadlines are different for each outlier course. For a 14 week (standard) course the audit deadline is two weeks after the start of the course; for 7 week (intensive) courses, the audit deadline is one week after the start of the course.
Note: you must fill out this form before the drop deadline of your course or you will be entered into the course as a credit-bearing student.
You can find your course's specific drop deadline in your course syllabus or the Course Resources page from your Course Homepage.
Does not apply to Florida Polytechnic University or other partner institutions. Please refer to your course syllabus for details.
